Buy 1, Gift 10%
Another important part of our mission is giving back! Not only do we want to empower individuals from all walks of life, but we also want to help the masses from all walks of life. So we wanted to be as helpful as possible so we started to research and figure out. How can we help as many people as we can, as God intended us to do so?
We’ll God answered, our prayers! We decided to create the “Buy 1, Gift 10%” Action plan. Here’s how it works. Every month we’ll be releasing a unique collection of apparel and accessories. And well every month we will help a new charity we found that needs our help. We’ll donate 10% of all profits for that month to the charity. So you can confidently know that when you buy from us you’re helping change the world and build god’s kingdom, one buy at a time.
THIS MONTH'S CHARITY
The Azaylia Foundation
The Azaylia Foundation aims to support families that are fundraising for treatments that may not be readily available on the NHS and provide children with memorable experiences as they fight cancer.
Little Azaylia Diamond Cain lit the world up and gave people hope and inspiration during dark times of the pandemic. Although her life was short, she left behind her a legacy of hope and a beacon of light which continues to burn bright today.
The torch is carried by her ever loving parents Ashley and Safiyya who harnessed the power and generosity of the incredible community which came together in support of ‘Little Lion’ Azaylia during her brave battle against children’s cancer.
Ashley’s dedicated mission is to continue to provide funds, over and above those already raised through and epic series of fundraising events to help hundreds of children and their families
Starting 1st September 2021, in conjunction with Children’s Cancer Awareness month, Ashley will begin his first fundraiser - a 1,000 mile bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. You can follow his progress, donate to the bike ride and learn of future challenges on our social media accounts.
We started this together and, together, we WILL be fearless in the fight against children’s cancer.
Shoes That Fit Mission
Shoes That Fit tackles one of the most visible signs of poverty in America by giving children in need new athletic shoes to attend school with dignity and joy, prepared to learn, play, and thrive.
A new pair of shoes can be a life-changing event for a child. School attendance, self-esteem and behavior improve. Physical activity increases. Smiles return. All from an often over-looked item—a good pair of shoes.
Our vision is that, one day, every child in America who needs new shoes gets new shoes, allowing all children the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Our mission aims to break through the legacy of systemic racism. We believe that investing in the education and well-being of our children has a profound impact on their lives. We are committed to helping to build the confidence and dignity of the children we serve and to working towards a just and equitable world where all children have equal opportunities.
Save The Children Mission
Over 100 years ago, our founder said, “Save the Children is often told that its aims are impossible – that there has always been child suffering and there always will be. We know it’s impossible only if we make it so. It’s impossible only if we refuse to attempt it.”
Through the decades, Save the Children has continued to work to save children’s lives, and that’s still what we do today.
By supporting Save the Children, you're helping save children’s lives, too.
Our pioneering programs address children's unique needs, giving them a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm. In the United States and around the world, our work creates lasting change for children, their families and communities – ultimately, transforming the future we all share.
This work is only made possible by the ongoing generosity of our donors, whose valuable support is used in the most cost-effective ways.
It's important to note that all our work intersects – helping a boy or girl go to school also protects them from dangers such as child trafficking and early marriage. Keeping children healthy from disease or malnutrition means their parents are more likely to avoid costly treatment and be better able to provide for their family.
We don’t go into communities, carry out a project and then move on. We consult with children, their families, community leaders and local councils to understand all the issues or barriers, and then we develop programs that address these. We build trust so that our programs are successful and bring about real change.
LunchBox Fund Mission
We uphold a child’s right to an education. No child should be kept from learning by hunger or household food insecurity.
The Lunchbox Fund helps vulnerable and food-insecure children in South Africa get the education they desperately need to build a life free of poverty.
We provide a nutritious daily school meal to children who would otherwise go hungry. This meal encourages children to attend school and enables them to concentrate and learn while they are there. Children are supported at all stages of their education – from pre-school, to primary and secondary school and after-school programs.
The Crisis in Early Childhood Development
The first five years of a child’s life are critical for their physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. The ‘essential package’ of integrated ECD services in South African policy covers the five pillars of: Social Services, Maternal and Child Health Interventions, Support for Primary Care Givers, Stimulation for Early Learning, and Nutrition Support. The Lunchbox Fund seeks to address two of these five pillars – Nutrition Support and Stimulation for Early Learning – through spearheading nutrition provision in ECDC and playgroups offering quality educare across the country.
Investing resources to support and promote optimal child development from a young age yields compound dividends into adulthood, and contributes to a country’s truly sustainable development.
Last Month’s Charity – MAY 2021
Our mission statement
The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay.
- The hospital’s leukemia studies have pioneered the way the world treats childhood leukemia.
- St. Jude pioneered outpatient clinical trials for children with leukemia, reducing the need for inpatient stays.
St. Jude scientists are using new forms of treatment to improve the outcome of AML. Current clinical trials include:
- Treatment based on the specific subtype of AML and on the response to therapy: intensive use of chemo plus stem cell transplant
- Checking for minimal residual disease by flow-cytometric and molecular techniques
- Clofarabine, sorafenib and other new drugs for the treatment of AML
- Natural killer cell transplantation
- Using new methods to look for genetic defects in AML
